The event we’ve all been waiting for! After a covid-related hiatus in 2020, we are delighted to invite you and your families to a late summer (OK, autumn) Club Awards party.
A little different to previous years, we have listened to your feedback and opted for a casual, outdoor event:
When: Saturday 2nd October from 3pm
Where: OXSRAD
Who: Club members and their families
What: BBQ, mingling, games, awards, raffle….and a disco!
The gathering will be a relaxed affair, so dress for comfort and the weather. If we are met with rain, we do have the option of using the OXSRAD sports hall. The party MUST go on!
There is no charge for attendance, but Sax will be taking payment (approximately £5) per burger/hotdog. There is no longer a drinks bar at the venue, so we can bring our own. Sax will order a small supply of bottled/canned beverages which you can purchase on the day if you wish.
The order of proceedings (times are approximate):
3pm onwards – arrival, mingling, music, games
4pm – BBQ, more mingling
5pm – speeches, awards, raffle prizes
6pm – until late(ish)- disco and dancing
Don’t forget to nominate your fellow club members for the Club Awards by Sunday 19th September. After that date, you will be asked to vote from a shortlist. More details of that next week.
